    These knives under go a 52 step process until completion:
    - 20 steps in Solingen at Otter for preparation.
    - 12 steps in Dusseldorf at hartaufhart for customised patination.
    - 20 steps in Solingen at Otter for final assembly and sharpening.

  • Unique Patina

    The painting techniques used are a specially developed process by Sebastian von hartaufhart from Dusseldorf. The patina will continue to develop with use.
    Each knife is unique. The colour, structure and intensity of the patina will vary.
