Made in Thiers, France, the capital of Cutlery, Fontenille Pataud have been producing some of the finest regional style pocket knives since 1929. 'Le Capuchadou', is one of Fontenille Pataud’s knives that pay tribute to the Workers and Farmers of the Aubrac region in France. 
The folding knife houses a resistant 12C27 Stainless Steel blade with a Clip Point shape. The blade itself is stamped with the ‘Le Capuchadou’ logo and the tang of the blade is stamped with the ‘Gilles’ logo, which signifies a truly high end and artisanal product.
Attention to detail has not been spared. The back spring and clover are delicately hand filed, and the scales are masterfully worked using premium exotic materials and then are polished smooth.  
The action of the blade has been masterfully crafted. A built in blade stopper aids in preventing the blade edge from ever striking the back spring when closed. The ‘Le Capuchadou’ range uses the more traditional slip joint locking system.
